Bio

I'm a Software Development student at Bow Valley College, who is passionate about building code and people. Over the past semesters, I’ve worked with languages like C++, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, and frameworks like React and. .NET in group projects. I also had the opportunity to work in the Riipen Level Up Project with UI Design and working with WordPress. In my last semester, I expanded my knowledge in FrontEnd stacks:HTML, CSS and JS Vanilla along with Database(MongoDB), REst APIS and at this semester, I am developing these skills using REACT framework. My last Riipen project, I am proud saying that even I haven't worked directly with WordPress, I was able to develop my skills and be critical thinking in solving solutions for the UI designs I redesgined turning them into a website ready. For this project, I had to develop and use more scripts and CSS, which I was proud to accomplish on time with different approaches.
As a teammate, I am coachable and excited to be part of another real team project to learn and also to contribute new ideas. For over 10 years, I’ve been passionate about developing people skills and team leadership, something that grew from being mentored by inspiring leaders throughout my career. Now, I aim to bring those human-centered skills into the tech world.

Leiziane participated in a web development project using WordPress and several WordPress extensions. Her job was to implement the user interface that had been previously developed in Figma. She not only fixed some of the design elements in Figma but also migrated the design onto WordPress by first learning how to do it, as she had never done this before. Then she taught herself how to use Elementor to fix the UI and make it a portable user interface over multiple devices. It was a challenging project, and she met all the milestones not only on time but with excellence and a great attitude. It was a real pleasure working with her, and I hope we can do it again in the future.
